The Nosing Line: what moved in the stair clauses, and on what date
Leave this page holding one dimension — the nosing projection in millimetres, with the clause number it came from — and one of three actions: rebuild the flight, retrofit a nosing strip, or record the deviation and sign it.
This line follows the numbers that decide whether a stair can be walked safely and whether it can be signed off: the projection, the rise and the going, the clear width, the sphere that tests an opening, and the slip band on the surface. Ten parts define them. Seven checks put them to use. Six bulletins record what was measured and where the sources disagree.
Everything below is dated. A part page carries the date its clause was last read; a bulletin carries the date it was written. Nothing here says “three hours ago”, because a check is a date and not a timestamp.

How this line is kept
The clock here is now. A part page states the date its clause was last read and names the edition it was read from, because the same stair can pass one edition and fail the next and the difference is a date, not a preference. A bulletin states the date it was written and is updated in place when a figure moves rather than being replaced.
Sources are deep links to specific documents with each document's own title as the link text, and every source states the sentence it supports. The line does not review products, does not sell anything, and does not write about stair types it cannot measure. What it refuses is listed on the not-covered page, with a reason per line.
File this and go when you have the projection and the edition it was measured against. That is the whole job of the front page.
