What to send

  1. The URL of the sheet. One sheet per message; do not batch.
  2. The figure you think is wrong, quoted exactly as the sheet states it, with its unit.
  3. The document that contradicts it, as a link to a specific publication — not a home page and not a search result.
  4. Whether you want the figure changed or the disagreement recorded. Both are useful and they are different edits.

What happens next

If the document is specific and it contradicts the sheet, the figure changes and the check date moves. If the documents genuinely disagree with each other, the disagreement is recorded rather than resolved, and it is recorded as a bulletin with the two positions side by side and the dates on both. If the document cannot be opened, nothing changes and you are told why.

What will not happen

  • No sheet will be changed to a figure that has no document behind it, however plausible it is.
  • No definition will be reworded to look fresh.
  • No product will be recommended, in either direction.
  • No correction will be applied anonymously on a sheet about somebody's building.

There is no form on this site and no analytics on this site, so the mailbox is the only channel. If the mailbox is not live yet, the line is not deployed yet and this page is the last thing to fix.
